The Special Events Team coordinates social networking events that provide young professionals the opportunity to meet and engage with one another. Members of the Special Events Team help identify and secure locations and food for NEXT Hour, usually held on the second Thursday every other month, and coordinate semi-annual combined YPO events that bring together metro area young professional groups. Members’ responsibilities also include negotiating with vendors, helping to establish event sponsors and providing man-power for set-up and breakdown of events.
