Benefits of becoming a paid and active member of Norman Next include:

• Discounted membership to the Norman Chamber of Commerce
• Free roundtable lunches where you are provided intimate access to various community and business leaders
• Social Networking events with free hors d'oeuvres and opportunities to network with other young professionals in the community.  NEXT Hours are held at unique locations around Norman and allow you to experience diverse places within the community. 
• Opportunity to have one‐on‐one interaction with local community/ business leaders via the NEXT Mentorship Program. Mentors in the past included the Mayor of Norman, the Superintendent, local bank Presidents, established real estate developers.
• A broad voice representing over 160 young Norman professionals.  NEXT has an influential voice with many local organizations including the Norman Chamber, United Way of Norman, and the Norman Economic Development Coalition. Each of these organizations has asked the Norman NEXT chairperson to designate a NEXT member to be nominated/serve on their Boards in the last year.
• Opportunity to give back to Norman.  In the past 2 years, NEXT has donated toys for children, held a can drive to help the less fortunate in our community and encouraged participation in a School Bond Issue.
• Manage and lead major municipal debates. NEXT members provided all of the questions, format, and organization for the most well attended Mayoral debate this March.
• Networking opportunities with young professionals outside Norman. We have had annual events with the OKC and Edmond Young Professional groups and are looking at collaborating with Tulsa in the future.
• Opportunity for young, aspiring entrepreneurs to get connected to resources in the community to help them start their own businesses in Norman.  NEXT has very close relationships with the Norman Economic Development Coalition, OU Center for Creation of Economic Wealth, and OU Price College of Business Entrepreneurship Program.
