The direction of our community is in the hands of those who serve and control the governments that regulate us. Young professionals in Norman have a tremendous opportunity to represent the business community by serving in city and government roles. There are hundreds of seats on local government Boards and Commissions held by appointed citizens who serve in a vast range of capacities. There are also many Norman Public School Board citizen committees, County opportunities, and State government opportunities. Through serving on Boards and Commissions like these, Norman NEXT and young professionals have the opportunity to influence the direction of public policy and provide a pro-business voice for Norman, creating a united community that cultivates prosperous business opportunities and the highest quality of life for future generations.
If you are interested in serving the community through one of these roles, please contact the NEXT Government Relations Team.
